Our History

Spiritual Direction Ministries ("SDM") was founded in 2007, in Playa Vista, California, as a spiritual organization that supports individuals of all faiths and socially disadvantaged individuals through programs and spiritual faith-based programs.


SDM has expanded the scope of its spiritual community services to include spiritual direction, wellness education (i.e., teaching of meditation, yoga and other spiritual practices), and other community outreach services and programs.

 

The needs of 21st-century spiritual communities seem to be changing and growing by the day. Our programs will expand to meet the needs. Over the years, we have learned that what people need most is someone who will listen to them - someone they can turn to for support when the going gets tough. And that's what SDM is all about.
